The Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, responded this Tuesday to criticism and the possibility of a motion of censure against the Government, defending himself from the various controversies he has been involved in and reinforcing his determination to remain in office. In a speech marked by attacks on the "policy of permanent suspicion," Neves recalled his career as director of the Judicial Police, stating that he has always fought "the most diverse threats to the country" and that "without evidence there is no accusation, there is defamation."
