The national team arrived at halftime leading by one point, with the score at 42-41, after achieving a historic victory in Spain, 95-89, in the previous round. In the second half of the match, Georgia managed to turn the tide and secure the victory. Rafael Lisboa was the top scorer of the Portuguese team. After two of the six rounds of this qualification phase, Portugal has one win and one loss.
