My Vintage Dress, a store specializing in wedding dresses located on Rua Fradique Coutinho, in the Pinheiros area of São Paulo, closed suddenly and left several customers without their dresses. The company issued a statement on Tuesday (1st) after a series of reports on social media about the closure of the establishment and problems with the delivery of pieces.
The store stated it is facing an "important problem" in its production operation and said it is prioritizing cases of brides with weddings coming up the soonest. Some customers had ceremonies scheduled for the coming days and were outraged by the situation, unsure if they would get their dresses in time.
The repercussion began to grow on Monday (31st), when brides reported they could no longer contact the store. Several of them went in person to the establishment, where videos and photos posted on social media show movement of customers and the presence of police at the location.
