The offer of nursing homes and support for the elderly has been increasing in Portugal, but continues to be insufficient given the pace of aging of the Portuguese population. The data indicates that these services reach only slightly more than 11% of the country's elderly population. This disparity between growing demand and the capacity of institutions to respond represents a significant challenge for the aging support system in Portugal.

Tehran promises to return to commitments if US restores agreement
