A large-scale flooding occurred in a garage located on Rua dos Arrependidos, in Funchal. The cause of the flooding was a burst pipe, which led to a large amount of water entering the space.
The Madeirenses Volunteer Firefighters have been on site for approximately two hours carrying out intervention work. The fire brigade is mobilized to deal with the flood situation affecting the garage.
The incident is taking place in the city of Funchal, on the Island of Madeira. So far, no information has been released regarding possible material damage to vehicles or structures, nor about any injuries resulting from the flooding.
