Rajendra Dawadi, principal of Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Nuwakot, Nepal, decided to immediately close the school and send all students home shortly before the arrival of a devastating flood. The school was destroyed by the force of the water and mud shortly after closing. Thanks to his quick action, the approximately 900 students at the institution were saved.
The disaster occurred last Wednesday and severely affected the country.
