Sintra Pro Fest celebrates 30th edition at Praia Grande between September 1st and 6th

Praia Grande hosts between September 1st and 6th the Sintra Pro Fest 2026, which celebrates its 30th edition, consolidating itself as one of the oldest and most recognized competitions in the world bodyboard circuit. Over three decades, the event has contributed to projecting the Sintra municipality internationally, attracting elite athletes and visitors from various countries.

This year's edition features an enhanced program, which includes before the main competition a stage of the Junior National Circuit of the Portuguese Surfing Federation. This initiative aims to contribute to the training and promotion of new talents in wave sports, consolidating Sintra as a reference stage for these modalities.

The Sintra Pro Fest 2026 also presents activities open to the population, sustainability-related actions and territory promotion initiatives. The event is organized by the Sintra Coast Bodyboard and Surf Association in partnership with the Sintra Municipality, remaining for 30 years as a reference of the sport.
