Strike at Angolan airline TAAG cancelled

TAAG's administration announced that the strike notice that had been presented by the union structure, with a stoppage scheduled for September 1st, was withdrawn. The decision to cancel the strike came after meetings were held between the management of the Angolan airline and union representatives. TAAG, Angola's national airline, was thus facing a showdown with its workers that was ultimately resolved through dialogue. The labor conflict was resolved before the stoppage could affect the airline's operations.
