The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the rescue of a Portuguese citizen who was missing in Nepal. This person was one of three Portuguese citizens reported missing following the floods that affected the country.

The rescue was officially confirmed by the Ministry, which did not specify details about the identity or health condition of the rescued individual.

The other two missing persons are women, who remain unaccounted for. Authorities continue to make efforts to find them.

The floods in Nepal appear to be the cause of this situation that led to the disappearance of the three Portuguese citizens in the region.
