The Alvarinho Fair will return to Monção in 2027 to celebrate its 30th edition. The event is scheduled for July 1 to 4, at Parque das Caldas, and promises to bring together thousands of visitors over four days dedicated to wine, gastronomy and entertainment.
The next edition will continue an event that has become one of the main references of Monção and the Monção and Melgaço sub-region. Known as the "Biggest Wine Party in Portugal", the fair celebrates one of the most emblematic products of the territory and plays an important role in promoting tourism and the economy of the region.
In the 2026 edition, 39 Alvarinho producers from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region participated, the highest number ever. This growth in producer participation demonstrates the dimension that the initiative has been achieving and reinforces the importance of the fair as a space for enhancing the value of wines produced in the territory.
With three decades of history to celebrate in 2027, the Alvarinho Fair remains as one of the most emblematic events of the municipality of Monção.
