A 63-year-old Spanish tourist died in a fire at a hotel in Fátima. The fire started in the room where the victim was staying.
The Judicial Police are investigating the causes of the fire and one of the hypotheses under analysis points to a lit candle as a possible source of ignition.
More than 50 people were evacuated from the hotel during the firefighting operation and guest evacuation.
