Dudu Azevedo and Malu Rodrigues have been confirmed as the stars of "Amor sob vigilância," a new Globoplay vertical soap opera set to premiere on September 15. Actor Dudu Azevedo, who recently appeared in a guest role in the soap opera "Êta mundo melhor!," now takes on the lead role in the new production.
In the plot, Dudu plays Daniel, who appears to live in a perfect relationship with Mariana, a character played by Malu Rodrigues. The story takes place in a setting where social media does not exactly show reality, creating an environment conducive to conflict.
The couple's life changes completely when they become targets of fake news, virtual manipulation, and real-life stalking. To prevent their lives from being destroyed, Mariana and Daniel must join forces and conduct a parallel investigation to find out who is behind the virtual attacks. Dudu himself described the duo as "the cutest couple on Earth," but highlighted that antagonistic characters will emerge to complicate their lives and try to break them apart.
