Valpaços mobilizes parishes and associations to support farmers affected by fires

Valpaços City Hall met with the presidents of the Parish Councils from the nine parishes affected by the recent fires and with the agricultural associations in the municipality to define a joint response to support the affected producers. The meeting was promoted by the municipal president, Jorge Mata Pires, and its main objective was to prepare the follow-up of the affected farmers. During the meeting, strategies were outlined to quantify the damages and coordinate recovery efforts. The parish councils and agricultural associations will work together with the city council to identify the producers' needs and efficiently channel the available support.
