STCP (Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto) launched a new service that allows customers to get real-time bus schedule information through WhatsApp. The service enables users to query and receive answers about when the next bus arrives at a specific stop. This tool aims to facilitate access to public transport information, making trip planning more practical for Porto passengers. The implementation of this WhatsApp customer service technology represents a step in modernizing the transport company's customer support services.

Financial House bets on unique ecosystem for credit, insurance and real estate

Casa Financeira launched this Tuesday in the Portuguese market with an integrated proposal bringing together mortgage credit, consumer credit, insurance and real estate mediation in a single ecosystem. The new brand, born from Proposta Eloquente (a company founded in 2017 and registered with the Bank of Portugal), has more than 300 million euros in intermediated credit and eleven partner financial institutions. The model is based on a network of local specialists supported by a proprietary technological platform and AI Native, with continuous training through Academia Casa Financeira, allowing clients to receive face-to-face or remote support. Artificial intelligence is integrated from the outset in the company's CRM, automating processes and freeing specialists to focus on the client relationship. Chairman Ricardo Costa states that the goal is to build a continued relationship of proximity and trust with clients.

US oil reserves are at the lowest level since 1982

The United States' strategic petroleum reserves reached their lowest level since 1982 on August 31, at 289.7 million barrels, potentially dropping to 243 million if President Donald Trump releases another 39 million barrels. The White House revealed details of an agreement with Venezuela, described as the "largest oil agreement" in world history, granting the US majority control over 65 billion barrels of proven Venezuelan reserves. The agreement, signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, through the company North American Blue Energy Partners, guarantees the US a 35% stake in the parent company, rights to purchase 20% of production at cost of production to replenish the strategic reserve depleted by Joe Biden, and veto power over board appointments.
