GLOBO launched on Tuesday a test that allows voters to identify which São Paulo gubernatorial candidate best aligns with their opinions. This tool is part of a series of special releases carried out by the newspaper for the electoral period. The previous week, the outlet had made available a similar tool for candidates to the Rio de Janeiro executive.
The test consists of 11 questions distributed across relevant themes, such as the "cracolândia" and the "privatization of Sabesp." From the participants' responses, it is possible to identify which of the two candidates to Palácio dos Bandeirantes best fits the voter's political profile.
The candidates included in the test are Tarcísio de Freitas, from Republicanos, who is seeking re-election, and Fernando Haddad, from the PT. The criteria established by the newspaper for participation in the test were twofold: the candidate's party needed to have representation in the National Congress and the aspirant needed to have scored in the latest Quaest poll. According to this criterion, only these two candidates were included in the São Paulo scenario.
