The Northern Doctors' Union met with the administration of the Local Health Unit of Alto Ave to demand answers to various problems identified by doctors. During the meeting, the union presented the main concerns of healthcare professionals and requested concrete solutions from the management.
Despite the commitments made by the administration of ULS do Alto Ave, the union considers that the identified problems have not been resolved satisfactorily. The main complaints focus on Primary Healthcare, where working conditions and the organization of services continue to generate dissatisfaction among doctors.
Given the persistence of the problematic situations, the Northern Doctors' Union decided to maintain the overtime strike. This strike extends until December 31st, affecting the performance of overtime and additional working hours by doctors at ULS do Alto Ave.
