The Changan Deepal S05 became the winner of the August Reader's Car of the Year Award vote. The electric SUV with which Changan began its entry into the Spanish market managed to prevail over its direct competitors.
The Chinese brand's electric SUV outperformed the Skoda Enyaq, the Czech brand's new reference electric model, which has seven seats. It also surpassed the renewed Toyota Yaris Cross, one of the references among hybrid urban SUVs.
With this victory, the Changan Deepal S05 consolidates the Chinese manufacturer's presence in the competitive Spanish electric vehicle market, standing out among the SUV options in the segment.
September's voting has already started with new candidates, including the GWM Ora 5, the Hyundai Ioniq 3 and the Kia Seltos, in a contest that promises to be equally fierce among readers.
