Europe needs to accelerate digitisation of public services to meet 2030 target

The European Union needs to accelerate the digitisation of public services to meet the target of making 100% of key services available online by 2030, according to the eGovernment Benchmark 2026 report. The document, prepared by Capgemini in partnership with Sogeti and IDC, reveals that digital public services for citizens score 84.6 points out of 100, while those for businesses reach 88.6 points, with a difference that, although decreasing, still persists.
