Benicàssim's modernism now has a new association to defend and promote its legacy. The association was presented on Monday, just four days before the Villas travel back to the beginning of the twentieth century, in a celebration that evokes the Belle Époque era.
Benicàssim is known for its modernist architectural richness, with several villas representing this historical and artistic period. The new association emerges in response to the need to preserve and promote this unique heritage of the coastal town in the Valencian Community.
The presentation event took place in a context of celebration, as the town prepared to relive the Belle Époque through the modernist villas. This commemoration allows visitors and residents to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the early twentieth century.
With this new organised voice, the defenders of Benicàssim's modernism intend to ensure that the architectural and cultural legacy of this era continues to be valued and known by future generations.
