There are moments when politics should rise above party affiliations. What is happening in Ceuta is one of those moments. The author argues that this is not a matter that affects only an autonomous city, nor an episode that can be analyzed through the usual logic of Government and opposition.
The article emphasizes that we are facing fundamental questions for the country: borders, security, coexistence, human dignity and, ultimately, Spain itself. It is, therefore, a matter of State that transcends traditional political divisions.
