September starts with a long holiday weekend, marking the end of three months without national holidays on the Brazilian calendar. The first one occurs next Monday, September 7th, when Brazil's Independence will be celebrated. The date falls on a Monday, guaranteeing a prolonged weekend for those who can take advantage of it.

Through December, there will be six national holidays in total. Five of them will fall near the weekend, which promises to extend breaks for many workers. Just over a month after Independence Day, on October 12th, Our Lady of Aparecida's Day will be commemorated, Brazil's patron saint, which will also fall on a Monday, guaranteeing another three-day weekend.

November will be the month with the most national holidays during this period. All Souls' Day, celebrated on November 2nd, will also fall on a Monday, once again extending the prolonged rest for Brazilians.
