The Brazilian striker arrived in Spain on the same day to undergo medical exams and complete the necessary procedures before closing the deal with the Catalan club.
After the match, coach Hansi Flick publicly praised Gabriel Jesus in a press conference. According to the coach, the Brazilian is a high-level striker and he is very satisfied with his arrival at Barcelona, highlighting that the player can contribute with many qualities to the team.
The official announcement from the club is scheduled for the afternoon of next Tuesday. With no place at Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus should sign a three-season contract with Barcelona, after the clubs reached an agreement in the final stretch of the transfer window for 10 million euros.
