The Portuguese company MIND, founded in 1997 and headquartered in São João da Madeira, was featured by the World Footwear publication as a partner of the FAIST project – Agile, Intelligent, Sustainable and Technological Factory. This project is a mobilizing agenda coordinated by CTCP – Portugal's Footwear Technology Centre.

As part of this initiative, MIND drew on its extensive experience in industrial CAD/CAM to develop product development tools targeted at the footwear sector. Additionally, the company created organization and management solutions especially adapted to the needs of the footwear cluster.

The collaboration between MIND and the FAIST project demonstrates how Portuguese technology companies are contributing to the modernization and competitiveness of the footwear sector in Portugal, combining innovation with sustainability and technology. The highlight given by World Footwear recognizes MIND's role as a strategic partner in the digital transformation of this industrial sector.
