oglobo31 August 2026 at 23:31

The Brazilian public procurement market reached R$ 1 trillion in approved values on the National Public Procurement Portal (PNCP) in 2025, with over 1 million purchases made. The report was released by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI).

Of this total, 481.7 thousand purchases involved micro and small businesses, totaling R$ 272.6 billion, while 62.22 thousand purchases by individual microentrepreneurs moved R$ 12.08 billion. The scale of this market has been increasing demand for technologies capable of organizing public databases and supporting analysis of contracts, suppliers, prices, and procurement patterns.

This advance is occurring in parallel with the growth of predictive analytics technologies. Grand View Research estimates that the global predictive analytics market will grow from US$ 18.9 billion in 2024 to US$ 82.3 billion in 2030, with an average annual growth rate of 28.3% between 2025 and 2030.

The segment uses historical data, statistical techniques, and machine learning models to identify patterns and anticipate scenarios in bidding processes.
