Singer Alfredo Soares dies in motorbike accident on A24

Singer Alfredo Soares, from Tabuaço, died following a road accident on the A24 motorway. The information was reported by Rádio Douro Nacional, based in Lamego.

Alfredo Soares was riding a motorcycle accompanied by his wife when, for reasons still to be determined, he collided with a van that was stationary on the road.

The singer was seriously injured as a result of the impact and did not survive his injuries, dying at the scene of the accident.

Authorities are investigating the causes and exact circumstances of the accident involving the singer and his wife on the A24.
