The Public Security PEC already has 48 amendments submitted. The rapporteur of the proposal in the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) of the Senate is Rogério Carvalho, from PT of Sergipe.

Last week, the rapporteur had stated that he would present a report favorable to the approval of the PEC as it was sent by the Chamber of Deputies. However, he is already reconsidering that decision.
