Xacobeo Norte Surf Fest will have over 220 surfists in competition

The Xacobeo Norte Surf Fest will bring together more than 220 surfists in a competition that will take place in Leça da Palmeira. The event has the support of Xacobeo, the official pilgrimage program to Santiago de Compostela.

For the first time, Leça da Palmeira hosts a stage of the World Surf League, the world surfing circuit. This is a significant achievement for the municipality and for national surfing.

The Xacobeo Norte Surf Fest represents an opportunity for surfists of different levels to compete in an internationally prestigious event. The presence of the World Surf League elevates the status of the competition in the world surfing scene.
