São Paulo governor candidate Fernando Haddad (PT) again refuted the Civil Police version that there were no approaches to his driver Alessandro Caseri. At a press conference on Monday (31), the PT member presented an expert report commissioned by the campaign that concludes there was an approach to the professional near the Pullman hotel, in Vila Mariana, South Zone of the capital.
The expert report was presented to the police station investigating the case, the 96th DP, in Brooklin. The Public Security Secretariat had reported, after Haddad revealed the alleged intimidation two weeks ago, that the investigations did not identify evidence of approach or irregular procedure by the police.
Haddad stated that a police patrol car would have remained for 20 minutes in front of the hotel, while his driver was also parked there. The candidate maintains that there was an intimidation action by public agents.
The expert report presented by the campaign does not have direct images of the moment of the alleged approach. The case is still under police investigation.
