The PSP arrested a man for illegal stay and identified five foreigners during an operation carried out in Largo de São Domingos, in Santa Maria Maior, Lisbon. The operation aimed to combat drug trafficking and consumption, as well as illegal street vending in the area.
The authorities also inspected various commercial establishments in the area during the police action. The detained man was identified in the context of his irregular migratory situation.
The operation is part of the prevention and combat actions against organized crime that the PSP regularly carries out in the center of the Portuguese capital.
