The Government of Ceuta decided to postpone the opening of municipal nursery schools, intended for children up to three years old, until the end of September. This decision was made due to the situation the Spanish city is facing since the entry of thousands of immigrants at the end of July. Ceuta, which is a Spanish autonomous city located in North Africa, has been under pressure from the massive arrival of migrants, which has affected the capacity to manage municipal services. The postponement of municipal nurseries represents one of the consequences of the migration crisis the city has been facing in recent weeks.
