Amoura leaves Wolfsburg and heads to Nice

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo31 August 2026 at 21:21

The 26-year-old Algerian forward Amoura leaves Wolfsburg to transfer to Nice. The player, who was pointed to Benfica during the transfer process, thus leaves the German Bundesliga to play in the French Ligue 1.

The operation was completed through a season-long loan, with a purchase option set at 20 million euros. This way, Nice secures the services of the Algerian player for the current season, with the option to subsequently exercise the definitive purchase option.

Amoura represents an asset for Nice's attack, joining a club that has been investing in strengthening its offensive sector. The player arrives with accumulated experience after his spell at Wolfsburg, where he failed to establish himself definitively.
