The Portuguese national Figure Skating athlete Diogo Craveiro participated in the ISU Mission 2030 Development Camp, held between July 20 and 24, at the iceSheffield facilities in Sheffield, England. The event was organized by British Ice Skating, with the support of the International Skating Union, and brought together skaters and coaches from various countries for a program aimed at technical and artistic development and the preparation of Figure Skating athletes.
Over the five days, participants had access to a diversified program that included on-ice masterclasses, technical exercises in small groups, and free practice sessions, complemented by physical conditioning activities, ballet, and body movement. The camp also featured a theoretical component dedicated to international evaluation systems, judging criteria, and sports regulations.
The initiative also included moments of exchange and sharing among coaches, in which Portuguese coach Pedro Craveiro participated, through observation sessions, analysis, and knowledge exchange with professionals from different countries. This participation allowed for the deepening of relevant knowledge for participation in international competitions.
