Salvador, a 6-year-old boy, had the opportunity to enter the field alongside Rafa before a match between Benfica and Estoril. The moment was marked by emotion and provided a special experience for the child.
The boy suffers from Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare genetic disease that causes fragility of the skin and mucous membranes, resulting in blisters and wounds easily.
The initiative to bring Salvador onto the field is part of humanitarian actions that clubs frequently carry out to give moments of joy to children with serious medical conditions.
The event highlights the role of football clubs in promoting gestures of solidarity and providing memorable experiences to young people facing significant health challenges.
