REPMUS 2026 starts this Monday, August 31st, in the Setúbal region. This is the 16th edition of the Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems exercise, which runs until September 25th.
The event brings together more than 1,500 participants and 36 navies from different countries. The exercise is organized by the Portuguese Navy and features the participation of more than 300 unmanned maritime systems, commonly known as drones.
The activities take place in the Setúbal region and include robotic experimentation and prototyping with unmanned maritime systems. The event represents one of the largest international gatherings in the field of autonomous maritime systems.
