Lieutenant colonel José Henrique Martins Flores was preventively arrested last Saturday for suspected involvement in a criminal organization that provided private security for executives of Transwolff, a bus company investigated for laundering money for the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). He is detained at the Romão Gomes Military Prison in São Paulo's capital.

The Public Ministry of São Paulo indicted Flores and three other military police officers for being part of the criminal organization. The lieutenant colonel was the only one still at large and surrendered voluntarily after the Military Court issued the arrest warrant.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the military police officers used training and weapons from the corporation to provide private security for the company's executives. The scheme involved members of the Tobias de Aguiar Ostensive Patrol Units (Rota), an elite unit of the military police.

According to the indictment, Flores was the manager of security companies in the names of family members used as "front men" and determined the issuance of fake invoices to give an appearance of legality to the services rendered.
