A 65-year-old man died as a result of a collision on Highway A24, near Vila Real. The accident involved a motorcycle where a 60-year-old woman was also riding.
The 60-year-old woman, who was riding as a passenger on the same motorcycle, suffered serious injuries in the collision. Both occupants of the two-wheeled vehicle were assisted at the scene of the accident.
The accident occurred at kilometer 83.800 of the A24, on a section located between the towns of Nogueira and Vila Real. The competent authorities were called to the scene to provide assistance and investigate the circumstances of the accident.
