Desenrola Fies ends today (31st); see who can renegotiate debt and how to participate

The Desenrola Fies program ends this Monday (31st) the deadline for renegotiating student financing contracts. The initiative offers discounts and facilitated payment conditions for those who have debts with the Student Financing Fund.

Students with defaulted contracts with Fies can participate in the renegotiation. The program allows renegotiating debts with special conditions, including reductions in amounts owed and installment options.

Enrollment in the program must be done this Monday, the last day of the deadline established by the federal government for renegotiating student financing debts.

Exiting a franchise should be evaluated before signing

The Brazilian franchise market exceeded R$ 300 billion in annual revenue for the first time, reaching R$ 301.7 billion in 2025, with nominal growth of 10.5% compared to the previous year. The country ended the period with 202,444 operations, 3,297 networks, and approximately 1.762 million direct jobs. The sector's growth reinforces the need to analyze what happens not only during opening and operation, but at the moment of renewing, selling, transferring, or closing a unit. Data from the Brazilian Franchising Association shows that 4% of operations were transferred during the year, while 7.4% were closed. The Franchise Law establishes that the candidate must receive the Franchise Offering Circular (COF) at least ten days before signing the contract.
