The District Command for Civil Protection Operations of Castelo Branco issued a first alert dispatch for a rural fire in the municipalities of Guarda, Sabugal, and Bendada. The alert was activated to combat a brushfire that broke out in the region. The firefighting operations are being coordinated with ground and aerial resources. A total of 26 operatives, 5 ground vehicles, and 1 aerial resource have been mobilized for the fire suppression actions.
