A father forgot his 10-year-old son at a gas station in Spain. The case occurred this Sunday at a fuel station near Aldea del Cano, in the Spanish province of Cáceres, next to the A-66 motorway.
The man only realized that his son was missing when he had already traveled about 140 kilometres, at which point he returned to the location to pick him up.
The boy was left alone at the gas station during the period his father was away, without any supervision. No further details were revealed about the circumstances that led to the forgetting.
Spanish authorities did not say whether the father will face any legal consequences for the incident.
