António Manuel Ribeiro, leader of the Portuguese band UHF, told on the BLITZ podcast, in March, an anecdote involving Amália Rodrigues. According to the musician, he was recording in the studio when he passed gas, something he found embarrassing.
After that embarrassing moment, António Manuel Ribeiro entered the studio and found himself face to face with Amália Rodrigues, the legendary Portuguese fado singer. At that point, he was completely petrified by the situation.
The recollection of António Manuel Ribeiro was highlighted during the August break of the program Posto Emissor, which is revisiting some of the most listened-to editions throughout the year. The encounter took place at the Valentim de Carvalho studios, in Paço de Arcos.
