Lack of leisure spaces limits options for children in Teresina

The city of Teresina faces a significant shortage of adequate leisure spaces for children. Many children's parks that previously existed in the capital of Piauí have stopped functioning or have been completely vandalized. The situation limits the options for safe entertainment for the city's children. Residents and families report the difficulty in finding appropriate places to take children to play outdoors. The parks that still remain are in poor condition, without adequate maintenance and without the necessary equipment to guarantee children's safety during leisure activities.
