The Full Moon 2026 festival took place over two nights at Galé Beach in Albufeira, with its second and final night taking place on August 27. The event was organized by the Albufeira City Council and, according to the organizers, attracted thousands of people to the sand over the two days of programming.
The closing night featured DJ China, Bruno Zarra and Jay Martin on the musical lineup, as well as live performances by Estela Mota on vocals, David Simões on guitar and Sérgio Almeida on percussion. The program also included a fire ritual starring Sofia Brito and scenic lighting specially created for the event, crossing music, movement, light and fire with the natural landscape of the beach.
The first night featured a different lineup, with DJ China B2B Jusst, King Bizz and Gorelha, as well as Filipa Sousa, Isabel Carvalhaes, Sérgio Almeida, João Palma and Sofia Brito. The program prioritized the participation of local artists, maintaining an identity rooted in electronic music, live performances and fire and light shows.
The event provided a space for gathering and celebration for residents and visitors of different generations, marking Full Moon's return to its roots at Galé Beach. The organizers made a positive assessment of the festival after the two nights of programming.
