Carris will publicly present a solution for the future of the Elevador da Glória, in Lisbon. The presentation is scheduled for 4:00 PM and will take place at the Auditorium of the Order of Engineers, in the Portuguese capital.

This moment happens precisely one year after the serious accident that killed 16 people. The accident occurred in the historic elevator that connects Baixa to Bairro Alto in Lisbon, causing great national commotion.

The presented solution will include technical concepts for the recovery or replacement of the elevator, which is one of the most emblematic and frequented means of transport in the city. The Elevador da Glória had been closed since the accident.
