The Hortolândia Association of Atibaia, with support from the Municipal Government and sponsors, will hold the 44th Flower and Strawberry Festival of Atibaia from September 4 to 27, on Fridays through Sundays and on the September 7 holiday, from 9am to 6pm, at Ecological Park Atibaia, located at Av. Nobuyuki Hiranaka, 566.
The program includes the inauguration of a Japanese Garden featuring a concrete torii gate 5 meters tall and 6 meters wide, considered one of the largest in the country, as well as an ornamental lake, landscaping and a traditional Japanese house. The space aims to provide contemplation and reinforce the Japanese cultural heritage present in the history of the festival.
To improve accessibility, an electric cart will be made available for transporting people with disabilities or reduced mobility, facilitating travel to the Japanese Garden and the second plateau of the park. The event will also feature rest areas, covered spaces and hydration stations.
A Sensory Garden will be installed, completing the attractions of an event that celebrates the floral and fruit-growing tradition of the region.
