Sapataria Barradas, one of the oldest commercial establishments in Lamego, was distinguished by the Municipality with the Municipal Merit Medal, Gold Degree. The establishment was founded in 1958 by Rogério Barradas and Arminda da Costa, remaining active for over six decades. The shoe shop has thus become a reference in local commerce, spanning several generations and maintaining its presence in the city center.

The Municipal Merit Medal, Gold Degree, is one of the highest distinctions awarded by the Municipality of Lamego, reserved to recognize entities or individuals who stand out for their remarkable contribution in various areas, including culture and the preservation of commercial heritage.
