The secret hidden in an Antarctic meteorite: the magnetism that shaped our solar system 4600 million years ago

Primitive meteorites found in Antarctica preserve traces of an ancient magnetic field that helped transform the cloud of gas and dust that gave rise to the solar system about 4600 million years ago. An investigation by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, reveals that during the collapse of the solar nebula, magnetism may have played a much more important role than gravity in the formation of the disk of matter where the Sun and planets eventually formed.

You may be the culprit for being more bitten by mosquitoes: understand how

A new study from Rockefeller University in New York may explain why some people are more bitten by mosquitoes than others. The research indicates that natural acids present on the skin may attract different types of mosquitoes. Matthew DeGennaro, a neurogeneticist from the International University of Florida, a partner of the study, states that the goal is to understand the risks people face when being bitten, since the mosquitoes studied are disease vectors.

What does cooking and washing dishes at the same time mean? See what psychology says

Washing dishes while cooking is a psychological strategy that goes beyond household organization, functioning as a way to reduce cognitive load and minimize visual clutter. According to a study from Florida State University, domestic chaos elevates cortisol levels, while space organization regulates daily discomfort. This behavior demonstrates that the person does not wait for external motivation, but performs small tasks preventively to avoid accumulation. This practice is linked to anticipating needs, such as responding to emails immediately or filling up the tank before the reserve runs out, being essential for emotional well-being.
