A shooting early Saturday morning left three people injured in Kissimmee, Florida. Police were dispatched at approximately 4:17 a.m. to the 2100 block of Grande Court after receiving a call reporting gunshots. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found all three victims with gunshot wounds, and all were taken to a local hospital.
One of the victims was initially described as being in critical condition, while the other two had non-life-threatening injuries. The case drew attention due to the twist in the investigation, which revealed that the person previously described as being in critical condition is actually the suspect who shot the other two victims.
According to an update released by the Kissimmee Police Department on Sunday, the suspect had injured the two victims before being located by officers at the scene. The two people shot by him suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities stated that the incident appears to be isolated, with no indication of an ongoing threat to the local population. Detectives remain at the scene gathering the complete circumstances of the case, which remains under active investigation, and additional information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
