Huawei Technologies recorded a 35.9% drop in its profits by June, settling at 3.1 billion euros. This reduction represents a significantly weaker financial performance compared to the same period the previous year.
However, the Chinese company managed to increase its revenue in the first half of the year, which reached approximately 60.8 billion euros. This figure represents a 9.55% growth compared to the same period in 2023.
The contrasting results show that, although Huawei managed to expand its business in terms of revenue, the company's profitability suffered a considerable negative impact in the first half of the year.
The company faces significant challenges in the global technology landscape, at a time when it continues to operate under restrictions imposed by various Western countries, which may be influencing its cost structure and profit margins.
