The Spanish company Wallapop, specialized in buying and selling second-hand items, closed the year 2025 with revenues of 116 million euros, representing a 15% growth compared to the previous year. The Barcelona-based platform managed to significantly increase its billing.
However, despite the growth in revenues, Wallapop registered losses of 28 million euros in 2025. This negative result contrasts with the revenue increase achieved by the company during the period.
Wallapop is one of the main second-hand item platforms in the Spanish market, competing in a sector that has been growing in recent years with the popularization of the circular economy and sustainable shopping.
The results were known on August 31st, at a time when the market for buying and selling used items continues to expand, although the company continues to face challenges in monetizing its business model.
