Netflix announced the new comedy series "Casamento aberto e outras coisas que não existem", starring Camila Pitanga, Xamã and Sergio Guizé. The cast also includes Samantha Schmütz, Otavio Muller and Heloisa Périssé, completing the team of actors in the production.
The series is directed by José Alvarenga Jr and written by Alexandre Machado, a duo known for working together on "Os normais", one of the most successful comedies on Brazilian television. The two partners are collaborating again on a streaming project.
Production began filming in São Paulo and does not yet have a set release date. According to the platform, the series follows a couple who decides to open their relationship and explores, with good humor, the desires, agreements and contradictions of contemporary love relationships.
